Owl Creek Kampground LLC is located approximately 5 miles northeast of Riverton, Wyoming. We are 45 minutes from the hot springs of Thermopolis and 100 miles from Cody, Wyoming, the entrance to Yellowstone National Park. Grand Teton National Park is approximately 90 miles away, as is the town of Jackson Hole. Within a half hour to an hour and a half drive of the kampground is a sportsman's paradise. There are hunting, fishing, boating, hiking, mountain climbing, hot air ballooning, snowmobiling, skiing, 4-wheeling, etc. It just depends on what time of the year you decide to visit!
The Kampground
We are situated on 6.5 acres of grass covered property with large cottonwood trees providing excellent shade, privacy, and a park-like setting. Enjoy the birds and breezes as you relax at your picnic table under the trees.
Under new ownership in 2007, many of the services are being updated. We still operate the Owl Creek store of course. The restrooms have been upgraded for the 2007 summer season. The playground is still here for the kids.
Owl Creek will be a work in progress this year as we upgrade all the RV spaces to full hook-ups. Satellite TV will also be installed at this time.
A new enclosed game/laundry room is coming as well for the summer of 2007. The game room will have satellite TV.
Owl Creek Kampgound is proud to announce that we are now dog friendly! We are building an enclosed dog park for those guests that can't leave their best friends at home. Don't worry- all the squirrels are still here!
