Camping with all the amenities!
Owl Creek Kampground LLC is located approximately 5 miles northeast of Riverton, Wyoming. We are 45 minutes from the hot springs of Thermopolis and 100 miles from Cody, Wyoming, the entrance to Yellowstone National Park. Grand Teton National Park is approximately 90 miles away, as is the town of Jackson Hole. Within a half hour to an hour and a half drive of the kampground is a sportsman's paradise. There are hunting, fishing, boating, hiking, mountain climbing, hot air ballooning, snowmobiling, skiing, 4-wheeling, etc. It just depends on what time of the year you decide to visit!
The Kampground
We are situated on 6.5 acres of grass covered property with large cottonwood trees providing excellent shade, privacy, and a park-like setting. Enjoy the birds and breezes as you relax at your picnic table under the trees.
Under new ownership since 2007, many of the services have been updated. The Owl Creek store now has a great new selection of hand made and Wyoming gift items to pick from for that special gift for someone at home. Watch for featured items on Facebook. The restrooms have been upgraded and are meticulously maintained. The playground is still here for the kids. We also stock "super soakers" for kids both young and old as well as a horseshoe pit.
The RV spaces have all been upgraded to full hook-ups with 50 amp service available. DirecTV satellite television is available. A new enclosed game/laundry room with satellite TV has also been completed. Wireless internet is available throughout the park.
Owl Creek Kampgound is proud to announce that we are now dog friendly! We have an enclosed dog park for those guests that can't leave their best friends at home. Don't worry - all the squirrels are still here!
We are open every year from May 1st to November 1st.
