Camping with all the amenities!
Owl Creek Kampground LLC is located approximately 5 miles northeast of Riverton, Wyoming. We are 45 minutes from the hot springs of Thermopolis and 100 miles from Cody, Wyoming, the entrance to Yellowstone National Park. Grand Teton National Park is approximately 90 miles away, as is the town of Jackson Hole. Within a half hour to an hour and a half drive of the kampground is a sportsman's paradise. There are hunting, fishing, boating, hiking, mountain climbing, hot air ballooning, snowmobiling, skiing, 4-wheeling, etc. It just depends on what time of the year you decide to visit!
The Kampground
We are situated on 6.5 acres of grass covered property with large cottonwood trees providing excellent shade, privacy, and a park-like setting. Enjoy the birds and breezes as you relax at your picnic table under the trees.
Under new ownership since 2007, many of the services have been updated. We still operate the Owl Creek store of course. The restrooms were upgraded for the 2007 summer season. The playground is still here for the kids.
The RV spaces have all been upgraded to full hook-ups and satellite TV is available. A new enclosed game/laundry room with satellite TV has been completed. Our biggest addition was an eighteen hole miniature golf course.
Owl Creek Kampgound is proud to announce that we are now dog friendly! We have an enclosed dog park for those guests that can't leave their best friends at home. Don't worry - all the squirrels are still here!
We are open every year from April 15 to November 15.
